If you upload a video file, Ausha will automatically extract the audio file and distribute it to all listening platforms when your episode is published.

What is the ideal audio file size and format for publishing an episode on Ausha?
On Ausha, the maximum accepted audio file size is 500 MB, regardless of your hosting plan. If your file exceeds this size, you will receive an error and the upload will fail.
💡 These limits are set by listening platforms to reduce episode file sizes, making online streaming easier and allowing your listeners to download episodes more quickly.
On Ausha, you can upload audio files in the .mp3, .wav, .ogg, or .flac formats.
Once uploaded, Ausha converts all episode audio files to .MP3 format (128 kb/s) before publication to ensure optimal compatibility with all listening platforms.
💡 Since all files are ultimately converted to this format, we recommend exporting your audio files as .mp3 from your editing software to make uploading them to Ausha easier (it's the lightest format).
What video file size and format are recommended for publishing an episode on Ausha?
The maximum accepted video file size is 15 GB, regardless of your hosting plan.
If your file exceeds this size, you will receive an error and the upload will fail.
You can upload a video in .MP4 format.
Once the video file is uploaded to your episode, Ausha automatically extracts the audio from your video and converts it to .MP3 (128 kb/s) for distribution to all listening platforms.
