Which fields can I modify after an episode has been published?

Here is a list of all the fields you can edit after your episode has been published:

1. Content

  • Title

  • Description

  • Permalink: This modifies the Podcast Page link for your episode on Ausha.

  • Tags

  • Image: You can upload a new image by clicking on the pencil on the bottom-right of the image (Maximum 10 MB, between 400x400 px and 1400x1400 px).

Click Done (on the top-right) when you have finished making changes.

2. Audio file

Under Audio File, click Change File.

You can upload a new audio file for your episode (ideally in .mp3 format, otherwise in .mp4 or .wav format, 500MB max file size - be aware that you cannot upload files that are bigger than 500MB).

Click Done (on the top-right) when you have finished uploading the new file.

3. Category and Options

  • Season: You can select an existing season for your episode or create a new season.

  • Episode type: Normal, Trailer, or Bonus.

  • The option to categorize your episode as “Explicit Content”.

  • The option to publish your episode on YouTube and SoundCloud.

Click on Done (on the top-right) when you have completed your desired changes.

4. Privacy

  • Set your episode to Public, Private or Unlisted (for Boost-level and higher).

  • Allow or deny the ability for listeners to download the episode.

Click on Done (on the top-right) when you have completed your desired changes.

5. Chapter breakdown

You can create, delete, or modify an episode’s chapters after it has been published (see this article for more information).

Click on Done (on the top-right) once you have completed all your desired changes.

After completing your desired changes, confirm the modification(s) by clicking Save and Close on the top-right of the screen. This will trigger an RSS feed update (which will be picked up by listening platforms).
