Step 1: Add a new podcast (= a new show)
When you log in to Ausha for the first time or when you want to create a new show, this is the page that appears:
Here, you have two options:
Create my show manually
Import an existing show from another hosting platform. In this specific case, we've prepared an article for you that you can find right here: Importing my podcast to Ausha 👈
To create a brand new show, click on "Create my show manually" and follow the next steps! 🤗
Step 2: Fill in the podcast's information
To start the manual creation of a new show, you need to add the following elements:
A title - up to 140 characters
A cover image - with a maximum weight of 10 MB, in JPEG or PNG format, between 400x400 px minimum and 1400x1400 px maximum.
A description - with the possibility to format text in bold or italic, add links, or even insert emojis! 🙌
💡 Some listening platforms do not yet support text formatting in descriptions or the addition of hyperlinks. In such cases, your descriptions will be displayed without formatting and without links.
A language - which determines in which catalog your podcast will be available on listening platforms (Example: a podcast in French will only be available in French-speaking catalogs on listening platforms 🇫🇷)
A category - only a category already present in this dropdown menu can be selected (it won't be possible to add one manually). We follow the Apple Podcasts categorization. Your podcast will be classified based on the chosen categories and/or subcategories! ⭐️
Rest assured, you can always modify all this information later directly from your Ausha interface, under the Settings > Information tab. 🙏
Step 3 (Optional): Publish the first episode of my show
If you wish, you can create your first episode right when you're creating your show.
To do so, you can first click on the Start the adventure button. 🚀
After clicking on Add an episode, you will then discover the episode creation form. To learn more, check out the article: How to publish an episode? 👈
And there you have it, you have successfully created your new show and can now explore the Ausha interface! 🥳
