📚 If you have not yet set up the distribution of your podcast, first read this article:
Why is there a delay during the very first distribution?
When you launch the first distribution of your show on listening platforms, there will always be a waiting period between the moment you click the Distribute button in your Ausha dashboard and the moment it appears on the different listening apps.
⏳ This delay is completely independent of Ausha and is directly linked to the technical processes of each platform.
It is not possible to speed up these delays, so it’s important to take them into account when planning your podcast launch.
💡 This delay only concerns the very first distribution. Once your show has been approved and distributed on your chosen listening platforms, the following episodes will automatically be published across all platforms within a few minutes to a few hours on average.
What are the first distribution delays for each platform?
Have you published your first episode with the Public status (required), and have you set up distribution from the Settings > Distribution tab in your Ausha dashboard?
📚 If you haven’t done this yet, check out our article:
Once this is done, here are the average delays we usually observe for the first distribution of your podcast on each platform:
👉 For Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, and Podcast Addict, each platform usually creates your show’s listening page within a few minutes to about 24 hours.
👉 For automatic listening platforms (which do not require any manual submission) such as Pocket Casts, Overcast, Castbox, and Castro, a page for your show will usually be created automatically within 2 to 3 days after it appears on Apple Podcasts.
🧰 If you experience a longer delay for the first distribution, feel free to contact the support team of the relevant platform to identify the issue together:
