How do I modify my show’s name (title) or general description?
You can modify your podcast’s (=your show’s) name or description at any time. Everything can be done from the Ausha interface – there’s no need to take any actions on listening platforms as they will pick up the changes automatically.
Here are the steps to follow:
Connect to your Ausha account and head to the Settings tab.
Select Details in the left-side menu.
You can modify the Name of your show (140 characters maximum) and the Description (4000 characters maximum) here.
Don’t forget to hit the Save button at the bottom of the page.
💡 Note: We integrate your changes directly on your podcast’s RSS feed and we strictly respect your chosen formatting (links, smileys, bold, italic, line breaks, etc.). However, each platform may display your show’s name and description with their own formatting – this is based on the technical inner workings of each platform.
How long does it take for my changes to be picked up by listening platforms?
When you edit your show’s details (such as the name and description) from Ausha, these changes will be immediately incorporated into your show’s RSS feed.
🎧 On your show’s Ausha Podcast Page as well as in the Ausha Smartplayer embedded in your website, the new name and description will be updated within a few minutes.
📱 Listening platforms will pick up the name or description change within the next few days (the delay varies depending on the platform) and will automatically update your podcasts pages on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Deezer, etc. After updating your show on Ausha, you don’t need to do anything else!
You should know that certain platforms may take up to two weeks to reference your podcast using its new name or description. This is due to the technical inner workings inherent to each platform.
