How do I modify the name and general description of my show?
You can modify the name (= title) or description of your podcast (= your show) at any time. 🤗 Everything can be done directly from the Ausha interface, and you don't need to take any additional steps with the listening platforms as they will automatically fetch the updates (see part 2 👈)!
Here's what you need to do:
Log in to your Ausha account and access your show's interface.
Go to the Settings tab.
Navigate to the Details section.
You can then modify the Show Name (maximum 140 characters) and its Description (maximum 4000 characters) in the designated fields.
Don't forget to click on the Save button at the bottom of the page to confirm your changes. ✅
💡 We will integrate the modifications directly into the RSS feed of your podcast and strictly respect the chosen formatting (links, emojis, bold, italics, line breaks, etc.). 🙏 Each directory reserves the right to display the name and general description of your show according to its own technical implementation and formatting choices.
How long does it take for directories to update the changes?
When you modify the information of your show on Ausha (in this case, the title and description), these changes are immediately incorporated into the RSS feed of the show. 🚀:
On the Ausha website for your show and the Ausha Smart Player embedded on your website, the new name and description will be visible within minutes. 🤩
Directories, on the other hand, will notice the name or description changes in the following days (the time may vary depending on the platforms) and will automatically implement them on your Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Deezer, etc. podcast pages. After updating your show on Ausha, you don't have to do anything else! 🙌
However, please note that some platforms may take up to 2 weeks to reference your podcast with its new name and/or description.
