The transfer from Audiomeans to Ausha is a breeze! ๐
Step 1: How to Import My Podcast from Audiomeans to Ausha?
This step involves bringing your entire podcast history, including episodes, titles, descriptions, audio files, and more from your Audiomeans RSS feed to Ausha.
Here's how you can do it: ๐
Create an Ausha account on the website www.ausha.co or log in if you already have one.
During the show creation process, select "Import existing show."
Enter the current RSS feed of your podcast (provided by Audiomeans) in the "Name or RSS Link of the show to import" field.
Click "Continue" to confirm the import. All episodes published publicly on Audiomeans will be immediately imported to Ausha and integrated into your Ausha RSS feed. ๐
Now, let's proceed to Step 2: Redirection!
Step 2: How to Redirect the Audiomeans RSS Feed to My New Ausha RSS Feed from My Audiomeans Interface?
Redirecting your RSS feed informs directories that your future episodes will be distributed via your new Ausha RSS feed.
To set up the redirection, follow these steps: ๐
Log in to your Audiomeans interface and contact Audiomeans support (at [email protected]) to request the setup of the redirection from your Audiomeans RSS feed to your new Ausha RSS feed.
๐ก You'll need the URL of your new podcast's RSS feed on Ausha. To find it, check our article on How to Find My Podcast's RSS Feed on Ausha? ๐
Once the transfer is successfully completed (including import and redirection), you can then cancel your Audiomeans account.
๐ Keep in mind that Audiomeans cannot provide listening statistics from your old RSS feed. If you want to keep a record of your previous listeners, we recommend downloading, copying, or noting them before transferring your podcast to Ausha. โ๏ธ
Lastly, rest assured that this transition process is invisible to your audience. Your subscribers won't notice any difference between episodes posted from your previous host and those from Ausha! ๐
