How do I deactivate my show’s Website?
When you create a show (= podcast), a dedicated Website (= Podcast Page) is automatically generated by Ausha.
This Website is “activated” by default, so that your podcast gets extra visibility on the web. To learn more about Podcast Pages, check out this article.
You can nevertheless deactivate the Website in one-click if needed.
This may be relevant to you if your show is only distributed privately (paid podcast / private / internal company podcast, see this article: How do I distribute an episode to a limited audience (unlisted episode)?).
💡 Note: If you deactivate your show’s Website, all the show’s episodes’ Podcast Pages will also be deactivated.
Here are the steps:
Log into your Ausha account and head to the Communication tab.
Next, select the Website subsection.
Switch OFF the Activate Website setting.
Hit Save!
Congrats! 🥳 Your show’s and episodes’ Websites are immediately deactivated - they are no longer online and are thus inaccessible, even to cybernauts with direct links.
How do I reactivate my show’s Website?
Redo the same steps as before – Communication > Website > Activate Website – but this time turn ON the switch to reactivate your show’s Website.
Save the change!
Your show’s and episodes’ Websites are now online again. 🌍
