What is the Ausha Smartplayer?
The Ausha Smartplayer (or Player) is a podcast player that you can embed in your website.
With the Smartplayer, you can distribute your show’s episodes directly from your website, in addition to listening platforms and your Ausha Website.
The Smartplayer helps you create an immediate connection with your audience and transform your website’s visitors into your podcast’s listeners.
With Ausha, regardless of your subscription level, you can generate a Player:
For your whole show, which contains all of your episodes and/or playlists.
For each episode individually.
Which information and features can be found in my show’s Smartplayer?
You can configure and customize your Smartplayer in the Communication tab directly on the Ausha interface.
Within your show’s Smartplayer, your listeners can:
Listen to all your episodes, using the play button ▶️.
Find your show’s complete lists of episodes, seasons, and playlists.
Share an episode they are listening to directly on social media (Facebook and Twitter) or on any other communication tool with the Podcast Page link or Player code by clicking the Share icon.
See all the listening platforms on which your show is distributed, also by clicking the Share icon.
Learn more details about the episode (publication date, description, etc.) by clicking on the "i" icon.
Which information and features can be found in my episode’s Smartplayer?
When you publish an episode on Ausha, the episode is automatically added to your show’s Player (see previous section of this article). Also, when the episode is published, a dedicated Player for the episode is generated.
Here are the steps to follow to get your episode's Smartplayer:
Connect to your Ausha account.
Head to the Episodes tab.
Click on the “…” menu to the right of the episode
You will be presented with several options. Select Smartplayer to get the dedicated player for your episode!
In each episode’s Smartplayer, your listeners can:
Listen to the episode with the play button ▶️.
View the complete episode list (if you checked the See the list of episodes option when you copied the Player code to embed in your website).
Download the episode as an .mp3 file (you can deactivate this feature, see this article for details: "How do I modify an episode that has already been published?” ).
Share the episode directly on social media (Facebook and Twitter) or on any other communication tool with the Podcast Page link or Player code by clicking the Share icon.
See all listening platforms on which your show is distributed, again by clicking the Share icon.
Learn more about the episode (publication date, title, description, etc.) by clicking the "i" icon.
Hop between chapters within the episode (see these articles: "How do I use Chapters?" & "How are chapters displayed in the Smartplayer and Ausha Podcast Page?").
