How do I customize and share my show’s Website link?

1. Customize my show’s Website link

When you create a show on Ausha, a Website (= Podcast Page) is automatically generated. The Website’s URL will automatically use your show’s name like so: podcast.ausha.co/your-show-name.

You can edit the last part of this URL (in the example above “your-show-name”) from the Ausha interface, at any time.

To do so:

  • Log into your Ausha account and select the Settings tab.

  • Then head to the Details section.

  • Now find the Permalink field which defines your page’s link. You can edit the URL for your show’s Podcast Pages in this text field.

  • Don’t forget to hit the Save button at the bottom on the page.

Note: for the moment, you can only customize the end of your Ausha Website link. It’s not yet possible to remove the domain name podcast.ausha.co nor to set up a redirect to your own website’s domain (unless you have a Company subscription, in that case - contact us at [email protected] for a free quote 💌).

2. Share my show’s Website link

Foreword: we recommend you customize your Website’s URL before sharing it (see previous section). If you modify your show’s Website’s URL, all the old versions of the URL will no longer work and will lead to an error page.

To find the URL for your show’s Podcast Page, here are the steps:

  • Log in your Ausha account and select the Settings tab.

  • Then head to the Details section.

  • Now find the Permalink field with your Podcast Page’s link. Click Copy link.

Now you can share the link with your audience with a simple paste!

How do I customize and share an episode’s Podcast Page link?

1. Customize an episode’s page link

When you create an episode on Ausha, a listen page is automatically generated and added to your Website. The URL of this page will use your show and episode titles by default like so: podcast.ausha.co/your-show-name/your-episode-title.

Here we’ll talk about customizing the last part of this URL (“/your-episode-title”). To customize the preceding URL text for your episode’s page, see part 1.1 of this article.

To edit the URL for an episode’s page:

  • Log in to Ausha.

  • Head to the Episodes tab and create or edit an episode.

  • Then go to the Content section.

  • In the Episode link field, you will see a URL has been automatically generated by default for your episode’s Podcast Page. You can update this URL by clicking Edit.

  • Once you have made all the desired changes, click on Done, then Save and Close.

2. Share an episode’s page link

Foreword: we recommend you customize your episode’s page URL before sharing it (see previous section). If you modify your Website’s URL or an episode’s page URL, all the old versions of the URL will no longer work and will lead to an error page.

To find the page link for your published episode, here are the steps:

  • Log into Ausha and select the Episodes tab.

  • Then head to the published episode for which you wish to find the Podcast Page link.

  • Now click the “” menu to the right of the episode and select Podcast Page.

  • The episode’s Podcast Page will open, and you can copy the URL from your navigator’s address bar then share it with your audience.

💡 Note: your episode’s page will not be available until the episode is Published. If your episode is marked Scheduled or Draft, you won’t be able to access the Podcast Page yet and this option won’t be available yet on the “...” menu to the right of the episode entry.

---

If you want to prepare your communication materials before the episode comes out (scheduling social media posts, preparing a newsletter, etc.), you can already find the episode’s future page URL (which will be accessible at the date/time the episode is published on Ausha).

👉 To find a Scheduled or Draft episode’s future Podcast Page URL:

  • Head to the Episodes tab and find the Scheduled / Draft episode

  • Click on the Pencil icon to the right of the episode.

  • In the episode edit form, head to the Content tab.

  • You will find your future Podcast Page link in the Episode link field. You can copy it to the clipboard by clicking Copy link.
