How to remove an episode from listening platforms by setting the episode to Private on my Ausha account?
Episodes published publicly on Ausha are automatically shared on the listening platforms linked to your show. (read the article How to distribute my podcast on listening platforms? 👈)
To remove an episode from listening platforms, you need to change its privacy from Public to Private on your Ausha account. 🕵️
🔧 To do this:
Log in to your Ausha account.
Go to the Episodes tab.
Click on the Pencil icon to the right of the episode title you want to modify.
In the Privacy section, choose Private visibility.
Don't forget to click Save and Close at the top right of the page to confirm your changes.
How long does it take for my episode to disappear from listening platforms after setting it to Private on my Ausha account?
By changing the privacy of your episode from Public to Private, the episode immediately disappears from the RSS feed of your show. (read the article How to find my podcast's RSS feed on Ausha? 👈)
⏳ It will take a few hours to a few days for the episode to also disappear from listening platforms, depending on their responsiveness to update the RSS feed of your show on their page.
💡 You can switch the episode back to Public at any time, and the reverse process will take place on the listening platforms.
