How to Choose and Customize the Colors of Your Smartlinks (Show and Episodes)

Whether it's the Smartlink for your show or for your episodes, you have the option to change their colors. 🎨

Your Smartlinks will consist of two colors:

  • Accent Color on audio players and links

  • Background Color that will be applied as the backdrop

💡 In the podcast Smartlink Tips, the Accent Color is dark purple (#3f2ab9) and the Background Color is purple (#751cbf) 💜 : 👇

To change the colors of your Smartlinks 🧑‍🎨:

  • Go to the Communication tab > Smartlink

  • Visit the Appearance section

  • Here, you can modify the Accent Color and Background Color of your Smartlinks

  • Save at the bottom of the page! ✅

💡 Not sure which color combination to choose for dressing up your Smartlinks?

Still in the Appearance section, click the Generate My Colors button: our robot will suggest the most appropriate Accent Color and Background Color based on... your podcast's visuals! 🤩

How to Modify the Visuals Displayed on Your Smartlinks (Show and Episodes)

The global Smartlink for your show uses your podcast's visual. 🖼️

To change it, you can check out the article: How to Change the General Visual of My Podcast? 👈

For a specific episode, the Smartlink will use the visual imported during its creation. To modify it, refer to our article How to Edit an Already Published Episode? 👈

Additionally, you can add a Background Image to your Smartlink! 🤩

Here's how 🧭:

  • Go to your Communication > Smartlink tab

  • Then choose the Smartlink section

  • Below the colors of your Smartlink, in the Background Image section, click Add an Image

  • Save! ✅

For this background image, follow these recommendations 🛠️:

  • Ideal Size: 1500 x 1800px

  • Format: JPG or PNG

  • Max File Size: 10 MB

💡 If you add a custom background, it will replace the Background Color (see part 1 of this article)!
