How to Change the Author Name of Your Show
You can update the author name or copyright information for your podcast on directories anytime through Ausha, and changes will sync with platforms automatically.
🧭 To update your author name:
Log in to Ausha and go to Settings.
Select Details from the left menu.
Modify the Author field then click Save at the bottom of the page! ✅
💡 Some directories, as well as your RSS feed, display the Copyright and Owner Name fields. To update these, go to Settings > Export RSS > Settings. 🔧
What is the Timeline for Directory Updates?
Once you update your show’s author name on Ausha, the changes are immediately reflected in your show’s RSS feed. Podcast directories will pick up on the modification automatically, applying it to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other directories. No further action is needed on your part. 🙌
Keep in mind that some platforms may take up to two weeks to show your podcast’s new author name due to varying update frequencies. ⏳
