How are the listening links to the directories visible on my Smartlink retrieved?
The Smartlink centralizes all the podcast directories on which your podcast is available as well as all the other directories on which you can be found such as your social networks or your own website. π§
π To learn more and discover this feature, check out our article: "What is the Smartlink and how to use it to grow the audience of my podcast?".
How are the listening links displayed on my show's global Smartlink retrieved?
Your show's global Smartlink will display a button to each of the directories your podcast is on so that every listener can find you on their favorite platform. π±
π On the global Smartlink of your podcast, are all the directories for which you have enabled distribution and filled in your listening link from the Settings > Distribution on Ausha tab.
π‘ A listening platform does not appear on your Smartlink? See part 2 of this article "How do I add a missing listening platform to my podcast's Smartlink?").
How are the listening links displayed on the Smartlink of each published episode retrieved?
In addition to the global Smartlink of your show, a dedicated Smartlink will be generated for each of your published episodes. With this Smartlink, you will have the opportunity to redirect your listeners directly to listen to your episode on the platform of their choice! π§
π On the Smartlink of each episode, thanks to the Deeplink, the exact listening link of your episode will be embedded, either automatically (for Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube) or manually.

π‘ A directory does not appear on your Smartlink or your episode Smartlink does not redirect to your episode but to the general podcast page for a given platform?
How to add a missing directories on my Smartlinks (e.g. Apple Podcasts)?
In order for a directory to appear on the Smartlink of your podcast and of each of your episodes, 2 conditions are required:
Have enabled the distribution of your podcast on this podcast directory β
Make sure that the listening link of your podcast is filled in for this platform in the Settings > Distribution tab of your Ausha interface β
π Regarding the 1st step to see a missing platform appear on your Smartlink: make sure you have set up the distribution properly!
π To learn more, see the article "How to distribute my podcast on listening platforms?" (You will also find a link to a distribution guide for each podcast directories from this article).
π Regarding the 2nd step: your podcast is online on a listening platform and yet this same platform still does not appear on your Smartlinks?
For some listening directories (like Apple Podcasts, Tune In, Stitcher, etc), you had to set up the distribution manually from tools offered directly by these directories outside Ausha.
So, even if you have successfully set up the distribution of your podcast on these directories, you will then have to come back to Ausha to paste the listening links of your podcast within the Settings > Distribution tab of your Ausha interface. π
π§ In order to add your podcast link to my Ausha settings so that these directories show up on my Smartlink:
Go to the Settings tab of your Ausha interface
Then in the Distribution section
On the colored window dedicated to the platform for which you want to add a listening link, click on Distribute (even if your podcast is actually already distributed there)
Answer "Yes" to the question "Is your podcast already available on this platform?"
You will then arrive on the page dedicated to adding your listening link for this platform. Click on Edit to unlock the "Listening Link" box and paste your link.
Save to finalize the process of adding this listening link to your Ausha distribution settings
β³ Following the addition of this listening link, wait a few hours for the button to this listening platform to appear on your Ausha Smartlinks and communication tools (the process will be automatic but not instantaneous).
How do I manage the display order of the podcast directories on my Smartlinks?
You will be able to manage and customize the display of your Smartlinks from the Communication > Smartlink tab, including the order in which the different listening platforms are displayed. π±
If you want to change the order in which the podcast directories are displayed on your Smartinks, here are the steps to follow:
Go to the Communication > Smartlink tab in your Ausha interface
Scroll down the page to the Listening Platforms section
Drag and drop the directories' name following the display order you want for your smarlinks
Save your changes
`
β³ Following these changes, wait a few hours for the podcasting directories to appear in this new order on your Smartlinks and Ausha communication tools (the addition will be automatic but not instantaneous).
π Note: this display order will apply to the global Smartlink of your podcast as well as to the Smartlink of each episode (it will not be possible to have a different display order for the Smartlink of a specific episode, for example).
How to hide some directories from my Smartlinks?
As mentioned earlier (see part 3 of this article), you can manage the visibility or not of listening platforms on your Smartlinks directly from the Communication > Smartlink tab.
To hide or show again a listening platform on your Smartlinks :
Go to the Communication > Smartlink tab and scroll down to the bottom of the page
From the Listening Platforms section, uncheck the boxes of the directories you want to hide and recheck the boxes of the directories you want to make appear again on your Smartlinks.
Don't forget to Save!
β³ Following these changes, wait a few hours for podcast directories to appear or disappear from your Smartlinks and Ausha communication tools (the process will be automatic but not instantaneous).
π‘ This action is only intended to make podcast directories invisible (or visible again) on your Smartlinks.
Even if you hide a platform, your podcast will still be successfully played on this app. This will have no consequence on the availability of your podcast. β
