Warning: deleting an episode is immediate and permanent. By deleting an episode, you instantly erase all its content including the listening statistics and you will not be able to recover these.

If you choose to delete an episode, here are the steps:

1. Connect to your Ausha account.

2. Head to the Episodes tab.

3. Click on the “…” menu to the right of the episode that you want to permanently delete.

4. You will be presented with several options. Select Delete to remove this episode permanently from your show.

5. In the dialog that appears, confirm the deletion by clicking Delete.
Your episode has now been deleted! 🎉

When you delete an episode on Ausha, it is automatically removed from the show’s RSS feed.

🎧 On the Ausha Podcast Page as well as the Ausha Smartplayer embedded in your website, the episode is immediately removed.

📱 Listening platforms will pick up the deletion in the next few hours or days (the wait varies for each platform) and your podcast pages will be automatically updated on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Deezer, etc. After deleting the episode on Ausha, you do not need to do anything else. Just wait a few days and the episode will disappear from all podcast directories! 😉

Note: If the episode had been downloaded by listeners before its removal from listening platforms, the listener will still be able to access it on their phone / computer. Listening platforms can make an episode on your podcast page disappear, but they cannot do anything about episodes that have already been downloaded and that can be played offline.
