Foreword: To activate distribution, your podcast must have at least one publicly published episode. If your podcast only has scheduled or draft episodes, you cannot start distributing, regardless of the platform. To learn more, check out “How does my podcast get distributed?

Here are the steps to activate distribution for your show and its episodes on Amazon Music directly from Ausha (we make this process easy for you!) :

  • Connect to your Ausha account.

  • In the main menu, click Settings.

  • In the left-side menu, click Distribution.

  • Head to the Amazon Music box and click Distribute.

  • After clicking Distribute, a new dialog will appear and you will be asked: “Is your podcast already on Amazon Music?”. If your podcast has never distributed on Amazon Music, select No.

Note: If your podcast has already been distributed on Amazon Music, head to this article to verify that you have completed all the required steps to ensure a successful transfer from your previous hosting service to Ausha.

  • After answering No to the previous question, you will be asked to confirm your choice by clicking “Distribute” again.

  • The Amazon Music box will now be marked “Waiting for link to be generated”. Please wait.

  • After about 10 minutes, you will see the link appear. This link is the URL for your show’s listen page on Amazon Music.

Your podcast is now being distributed on this platform.

When you publish a new episode on Ausha, it will be automatically published on Amazon Music without you having to do anything else! 🥳

Note: Distribution on Amazon Music is not always instantaneous, each episode may show up after a delay of several hours, due to Amazon Music’s technical inner workings and how it updates with new content (the delay may vary from one episode to another).
