Which episode should I highlight for my podcast?

All the public episodes of your podcast will be listed on your Ausha website (see the article "What is the Ausha website generated for my podcast?" πŸ“•).

πŸ“Œ If you wish, you can pin one of your episodes to feature it at the top of your website.

To determine which episode to pin first, ask yourself: which episode should new listeners hear first to make them want to explore my other content and subscribe on their favorite listening platform? πŸ‘ˆ

This could be:

  • Your trailer (especially if you have just launched your podcast).

  • The episode with the best audience (trust your community and pin their favorite episode).

  • The episode with a renowned guest (a sign of credibility, especially for an informed or professional audience). 🎧

How to pin an episode on my Ausha website?

  1. Go to the Communication > Website tab in your Ausha interface.

  2. From the "Featured Episode" menu, choose the episode of your choice.

  3. Save the changes.

  4. Wait for your website to update.

How will this featured episode appear on my Ausha website?

After selecting the content you want to highlight, it will be automatically pinned at the top of your Ausha website (just below the main information of your show: Name, Thumbnail, Subscribe buttons, and Description).

The episode will be displayed in the Featured section. πŸ“

⏳ Note that you can change the featured episode as many times as you like.

We recommend, however, waiting a few weeks before making a new change, in order to measure the impact of the featured episode on your audience (number of downloads gained on this episode as well as the number of downloads recorded on the entire podcast). πŸ“ˆ
