What are episode chapters and why use them?
Chapters allow you to divide your episode into several parts, making it easier for your listeners to navigate through your content. 🎧
You can also enhance their listening experience by adding links and images that will appear on their device as each chapter starts, making the episode more interactive. 🌟
With Ausha, you can add chapters to your episodes, and they will be visible on Ausha and compatible listening platforms.

For Ausha Intelligence to automatically segment your episode into chapters, make sure to complete the following steps:
Subscribe to the Ausha Intelligence paid option (see our article: What is the price of the Ausha Intelligence option and how to subscribe?) 💳
Create your episode and upload your audio file (see our article: What are the required file size and format to upload an episode on Ausha?) 🎧
Generate the transcript of your episode (see our article: How to generate, edit, and export an episode transcript) 📝
💡 Ausha Intelligence uses your episode's transcript to automatically create chapters and improve listener navigation.
Additionally, with Ausha Intelligence, you receive 60 extra minutes of transcription each month, in addition to the transcription time already included in your Ausha subscription. 🎁
How to create chapters automatically for each episode with Ausha Intelligence?
🧭 Here are the steps to follow:
Go to the Episodes tab and open the episode you want to segment into chapters.
In the top-left menu of the episode management page, go to the AI section (this is where you can activate Ausha Intelligence for each episode 🥳).
Click the Generate button next to the Chapters section (in the AI section at the top left of the episode management page).
After analyzing your episode, Ausha Intelligence will automatically segment your episode into chapters in the Chapters section. You can then adjust the start time, rename chapters, or add an image or link to each one. 🖼️🔗
💔 If you don’t like the proposed chaptering, click "Dislike" and delete them by clicking the Trash icon 🗑️ that appears when you hover over each chapter.
You can then regenerate new chapters by clicking the Feather 🪶 next to the Chapters section (in the AI section at the top left of the episode page).
⚠️ If you regenerate new chapters, the old chapters created by Ausha Intelligence will be permanently lost.
