🍏 Before you can enable sharing your video episodes to Apple Podcasts from Ausha, you must have claimed ownership of your show on Apple Podcasts Connect
Claim ownership of my show on Apple Podcasts Connect
This step allows Apple Podcasts to verify that you are the owner of the show and gives you access to manage it from your Apple Podcasts Connect account.
Important: If you have not completed this process yet, follow the steps in our article How to claim ownership of my podcast and access its data on Apple Podcasts Connect? before continuing with this tutorial.
Once you have claimed ownership of your show, you can move on to the next step: allowing your video episodes to be shared to Apple Podcasts.
Allow sharing my video episodes to Apple Podcasts
You must authorize Ausha to share the video versions of your episodes to Apple Podcasts.
Here are the steps to follow from your Ausha interface:
Go to Settings > Distribution > Apple Podcasts
Click Enable video publishing
👉 In Step 1, sign in to your Apple Podcasts Connect account.
👉 In Step 2, submit your authorization request for video sharing.
⏳ Apple Podcasts may take a few days to review your request. During this time, the step will appear with the status Pending. Once your request has been approved by Apple Podcasts, the status Active will appear in your Ausha interface.
👉 In Step 3, you will need to create an API key to connect Ausha to your Apple Podcasts.
Sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect.
Go to Account > Keys.
Click the “+“ button to generate a new API key.
Name your key, then download the API key file to your computer.
👉 Then return to your Ausha account and upload this file in Step 4. Upload your API key. Remember to click the Save button in the bottom right-hand corner.
Once all these steps have been completed, video sharing with Apple Podcasts will be enabled for your show 🚀
