How to Generate, Edit, and Export the Transcript of an Episode?

With the Transcription feature, convert your episodes into text to make your content accessible to all and better indexed.

How do I generate the transcript of a podcast episode?

  1. Go to the Episodes tab and click on the episode (Pencil icon ✏️).

  2. In the episode’s page, navigate to the Transcription section and click Generate transcript.

  3. Confirm the minutes deducted from your monthly quota, then click Generate transcript again to finalize.

⏳ Wait a few minutes for the AI to generate the transcript. You can continue editing or leave the page while it processes.

Once ready, a message will appear: "Your transcription has been successfully generated! 🎉"


How do I View and Edit the Transcript

  1. Go to the Episodes tab and select your episode (Pencil icon ✏️).

  2. In the Transcription block, click Show and edit.

🍿 Browse through the full transcript. Uncertain words (highlighted in orange) can be easily corrected. You can also edit any passage as needed.

🎧 Use the audio player to navigate through the episode and re-listen to sections that may need editing.

Once you’re done, click Save changes.

💡 You can also customize speaker names by clicking on the "..." next to each speaker and selecting Add speaker to assign their name to specific sections.


How Do I Export the Transcript

  1. Go to the Episodes tab and select your episode (Pencil icon ✏️).

  2. In the Transcription block, click on the "..." and choose Export.

  3. Select the desired format: .txt (plain text), .json (structured data), .srt (video subtitles), or .vtt (web subtitles).
