How to prepare a newsletter for a new episode?

To schedule the sending of a newsletter, you need to make sure you have activated the Newsletter feature. (read the article What is the Ausha Newsletter for my podcast and how can my listeners subscribe to it? 👈).

To activate this option: 👇

Go to the Communication tab
Click on the Newsletter section
Here, you can click on the Allow your listeners to subscribe to your newsletter button.
Don't forget to click on the violet Save button at the bottom of the page to confirm your choice. ✅

👉 Once this option is activated, the 6. Newsletter (optional) section will be accessible in the creation form of each new episode.

Here's how to schedule the sending of an Ausha newsletter 👇

Go to the Episodes tab of your Ausha account
Click on + Add an episode.
In the creation form of this new episode, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Here you will find the 6. Newsletter (optional) section. It is in this section that you can add Newsletter Subject (the subject of the email that will be sent to your subscribers) and the Message (the body of the message that will compose your newsletter).

You can modify the newsletter only if your episode is in Draft or Scheduled status (read the article How to schedule an episode? 👈)

To modify the newsletter of a Draft or Scheduled episode: 👇

Go to the Episodes tab
Click on the little pencil icon on the right side of the title of the episode you want to modify
The episode modification page will open. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Here you will find the 6. Newsletter (optional) section to modify the newsletter.
After making the modifications, click on Save and close at the top right.

You can only modify the newsletter of a Scheduled or Draft episode.

Once your episode is published, the 6. Newsletter (optional) section will disappear, and the newsletter creation will no longer be available! ❌

💡 Creating a newsletter is meant to be exclusively scheduled before the public release of an episode.

The newsletter will be sent at the exact time of your episode's publication! ⏰

💡 If your episode has already been published, the newsletter has been sent to your subscribers, and it's no longer possible to modify it.
