How do I change the author name of my show?

You can modify the author name or the copyright of your podcast displayed on directories at any time. ✍️ You can do it directly from Ausha's interface, and you don't have to take any steps with the platforms because they will automatically register the changes (see part 2 👈)!

Here are the steps:

  • Log in to Ausha and go to the Settings tab.

  • Select the Details section in the left-side menu.

  • You can then modify the Author in the designated field.

  • Don't forget to Save at the bottom of the page ✅

Some listening directories, as well as your RSS feed, will also display the information entered in the Copyright and Owner Name fields. Therefore, we recommend modifying them in the same place, under Settings > Export RSS > Settings. 🔧

How long does it take for directories to update this change?

When you modify the information of your show on Ausha (specifically the author name / credits), these changes are immediately incorporated into the show's RSS feed. 🚀:

Podcast directories will note the author name modification (the same goes for the copyright / owner name) and will automatically implement it on your Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Deezer, and other podcast pages. After updating your show on Ausha, you don't have to do anything else! 🙌

However, please be aware that some platforms may take up to 2 weeks to reference your podcast with its new author name.

This is related to the specific technical functioning of each platform. ⏳
