🔒 Important: only the account owner can generate an API token.
Invited users cannot do it, even if they have the admin role. If you are not the account owner, ask them to generate the token for you.
1. Generate your API token
1️⃣ Log in to your Ausha account as the account owner.
2️⃣ Go to Account > Public API.
3️⃣ In the Access token section, enter the name of the application that will use the token (for example: "My analytics tool").
4️⃣ Choose an expiration date for your token.
5️⃣ Click Add.
Your token then appears in the Active access tokens list. You can create one token per application that needs to access Ausha.
💡 Can't generate a token?
Make sure you are logged in as the account owner and not with an invited account.
2. Keep your API token secure
An API token gives access to your Ausha account. Treat it like a password:
Never share it publicly (social media, forums, screenshots, public code repositories, etc.)
Create a separate token for each application so you can delete one without affecting the others
Choose a suitable expiration date and renew your token when needed
Delete tokens you no longer use from the active access tokens list
🚨 Has your token been exposed, or do you have any doubt?
Revoke it immediately from Account > Public API, then generate a new one.
