The Overview section of the Charts tab lets you monitor your show’s performance in the platforms’ Charts. You’ll find two key indicators there: Best Progress and Best Position.
What does Best Position mean?
Best Position shows the highest spot your podcast has reached in the Apple Podcasts or Spotify Charts, across all categories.
This data helps you see in which country and category your podcast is currently ranking the highest.
👁️ Here you’ll see:
The category where your show is best ranked
The platform where your show holds its best position
The country where your show is best ranked
The highest position achieved
💡 This information reflects your best position over the last 7 days, compared to the day you’re checking it.
What does Best Progress mean?
Best Progress highlights the most significant improvement recently observed for your podcast in the Charts.
This indicator showcases positive momentum: the place where your podcast has climbed the most in the rankings for a given region!
🚀 Here you’ll see:
The category where your show gained the most spots
The platform where your show progressed the most
The country where your podcast climbed the most
💡 Just like Best Position, this information reflects the best progress over the last 7 days, compared to the day you’re checking it.
📌 Good to know
The data displayed in the Charts tab comes directly from the platforms’ algorithms: Apple Podcasts and Spotify. These algorithms take into account criteria such as:
The publishing frequency of your episodes
The volume of recent listens
The competition within each category or country
As a result, the same podcast may rank very high in one country but be less visible in another, depending on the density of podcasts or the local popularity of its topic.
