Where can I find my podcast's Google Podcasts link?
So your show’s Google Podcasts podcast link isn't automatically showing up in your broadcast settings nor your Ausha communication toolkit (smartlink, podcast page, player)? Don’t panic – we’ll help you find it!
There are several ways to broadcast your show on Google Podcasts: wait for Google’s automatic indexing to kick in or submit your show via Google Podcasts Manager or PubSubHubbub.
If you’re looking for your podcast link, it’s probably for one of the following reasons:
Your show hasn’t been indexed yet automatically by Google Podcasts. In this case, it’s normal that our algorithms weren’t able to pick up your show’s link. We suggest that either you wait for your show to be automatically indexed by Google (you’ll see your podcast's Google Podcasts link automatically appear) or alternatively you can request manual indexing by following the steps outlined in this article.
You were able to get your show manually indexed, but you can’t find the podcast link. In that case, this article was meant for you!
How can I find my Google Podcasts podcast link? 🔦
To find your podcast's Google Podcasts link, you need to head to Google's Podcast Publisher Tool.
You’ll have to indicate your podcast’s RSS feed address (psst! If you don’t know where to find it, check out this article 😉).
Once you have your show’s RSS feed link, follow these steps:
Paste your link in the field marked Generate a direct link to your podcast.
Click on the blue Generate button.
Great! You’ll see your podcast's Google Podcasts link displayed!
The link will look something like this: https://www.google.com/podcasts?feed=numbersandletters
You can copy and share this link everywhere so that your listeners can tune into your episodes on Google Podcasts! 🚀
And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s a short video to illustrate the steps:
What do I do if I get an error message?
If you see the following message in red: "This RSS feed is not currently indexed by Google Podcasts" - don’t worry, Google simply hasn’t added your podcast to its catalogue yet.
If you want your show to be added sooner or you realized your show still hasn’t been indexed a month after you uploaded the first public episode (and your show is broadcasting correctly on other listening platforms), we recommend you request manual indexing by following the steps outlined in this article.
If despite the wait and all these manual steps, your show still isn’t indexed – there’s only one solution left – drop a line directly to Google’s customer support for podcasters.
